However, we must hold people like Alberto Gonzales and Karl Rove accountable for their political hackery.Lefty Metalheadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01946213189874461978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18183386.post-81705436952719769682007-03-22T09:47:00.000-07:002007-03-22T09:47:00.000-07:00I am so sick of this story. Clinton fired all of them with little fanfare. I don't like to stick up for the President, but this is just a waste of time.

As far as the secrecy issue within the administration- is this new? We know he likes KGB-like tactics within his circle, but 1) this is not new, and 2) he is completely within his executive powers.

I hope to God these Democrats do something meaningful before they run out of political capital. If they keep wasting news headlines with stupid shit like this, they'll end up being shunned by the public and the media like they did in the mid-90's.

Want to fix something? Here's a list for the Democrats to do something about:

-War in Iraq
-Immigration
-Tax reform
-Government pork and waste
-Failing, irrelevant public education
-Energy alternatives development

Instead of tackling these issues, they're going to listen to White House aides talk about why they fired Federal prosecutors. This is why I HATE politicians.

How about the $3,000,000 in PORK they rolled in the Iraq supplemental bill? This is just shameful. Both sides are to blame, but if Congress doesn't step up and do something useful, the majority party may invite the backlash much sooner than planned.BlackLabelAxehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18097549190860372632noreply@blogger.com
