My brother and I were discussing this at length the other day, he being a senior at UK majoring in both political science and German. We believe the final result of the Iraq war will be just like in Germany, where the occupation retreated to a few very large military bases, and maintained a presence there indefinitely. In my opinion, that's the path we need to walk, immediately.
"Staying the course" is just stupid bullshit at this point, because Bush won't let us leave until the insurgency is spent, but the insurgency won't quit until we leave.
Let's take a look at some of the fine folks that make up this 37% -
Pedophiles: Foley, Kolbe, Ankeney
Never served in the Military: Dick Chaney, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Rielly, Melanie Morgan, Michelle Malkin, Michael Savage, George Will, Bill Bennett, just to name a few.
Americans are really catching on to this Bullshit.
