Same ol' GOP Tricks are Growing Old

Republicans still can't discuss the issues. When a Democrat speaks on a real issue, that Democrat gets attacked by right-wing thugs.

  • Michael J. Fox gets attacked by Rush Lardball for wanting a cure to his disease.
  • Harold Ford has had some dispicable attack ads aimed at him that are attempting to play on good 'ol southern racist feelings to steal the election.
  • George Allen gets caught making a racist statement and tries to deflect critisism by pointing out some smutty scenes ina fictional book written by his competitor.
  • George W. Bush keeps saying that if the Dems win these mid-terms, there will be more terrorist attacks.
  • A mistatement by John Kerry is exploited by the White House.

Enough is enough. Fortunately, Americans are getting sick of all of this bullshit, and it is being reflected in numerous polls.

DO NOT FORGET TO VOTE ON OR BEFORE NEXT TUESDAY'S MID-TERM ELECTIONS.

Lefty's Two Cents:

Republicans know they're about to lose the House and possibly the Senate. Therefore, there is no question that all this negative garbage they have spun is an attempt to get some of their hardcore Evangelical wingnuts out to vote, especially since many of these wingnuts have decided not to vote due to the Iraq quagmire. Their dirty tricks are despicable, and we should not rule out voter fraud on their part next Tuesday! These pricks lack so many scruples, that there is no limit to what they're capable of. George "macaca" Allen has been talking about abortion and all those wingnut issues to rile his base. It won't work. It's too late. I don't expect these morons to go without a fight. So let's keep a close watch on them this Tuesday!

PLEASE VOTE!!!

I find this extremely interesting, since he probably had something to do with 9/11 in the first place. I believe him when he says that!

Yep, they're fucking pigs, thats all there is to it. Like scared, cornered animals, all they can do lash out when they feel threatened.

Orwell was a prognosticator.

the blame game is already started and in full force. as many of you know, the machines recently bought by the city of chicago for the upcoming election are already all full of bugs.

i can see the republicans blaming the machines.

that whole thing with fox and lardball rush was disgusting. the man is clearly ill. you didnt see fox ridiculing rush when rush got busted doctor shopping, popping pills, the viagra incident, etc.

at this point, its hard to say who will wind up winning these elections.
so many people are uneducated when it comes to these matters.

LMAO, I can't wait till the election is over.

Funny I don't care who wins it. I don't like Pelosi but other than that I couldn't care less.

IMO, a shake up is in order the idiots in now haven't done shit. so let the dems do it, then the rep's can do like the dems have done. vote no on everything, whine and complain and we will be right back to where we started......

I'm voting libertarian or Indy. I'm done with both of these parties.

^that's a fine ticket, BW. If there's no Libertarian, I'm writing-in Ken Hawk! Nothing like a Leiutenant Governor who gets his pecker twisted up in his bicycle spokes!

I share your hatred for the mobsters of American politics, aka the Democratic Party. It's a hard thing to learn that the other party only represents you "in theory", and in reality they're more interested in Washington's business-as-usual.

Like Jamey Jasta from Connecticut Hardcore Metal's founding fathers Hatebreed says in their famous song:

Through the worst we prevail, so our voices will be heard!

Don't just blame the political parities. Blame the fucking public. If sleazy politics and appealing to people's sense of fear, hatred and Reptilian Complex brains didn't work, the politicians would have to change their tactics.

The fact is that we have shitty politics and shitty politicians because thats what the American public responds to and votes for.

I'm so sick of politics and the people that practice it. I really want to turn it off altogether and concentrate on music, films, good tv (no news or reality shit) gardening and working around on my house.

I'd like to, but I seem to be addicted to this shit. Is there a 12 step program to help you quit paying attention to and caring about the scum of the universe and the boneheads that vote for them?

You gentlemen should put your anger toward the current political system to change it. I'm a Democrat because their values are closest to mine. Most importantly, I'm a Dem because they rule Chicago. You see, politics is all about what you can get and how. Politics isn't about values or any of that shit like it seems during these national elections. If you think, or even wish that's what it should be about, you're mistaken. You have to ride the coat tails of whoever is in power, and who you happen to agree with. That's the reality of politics. You campaign for someone in order to get future perks. It's the way it has always been done. Is it the best? Probably not. But people caught up in the "issues" are usually people who aren't involved in politics.
