I read something on Wikipedia just a minute ago that you guys would find funny:

"On November 8th, 2006, Donald Rumsfeld announced plans to resign from his position as Defense Secretary. Former CIA Director Robert Gates has been nominated to replace him. There was much celebration amongst civilized people. The Republicans also rejoiced."

Clearly that's vandalism, and by the time I'd refreshed the page it was deleted and locked, but I thought you guys would find that funny.

Rumsfeld was booted! I can't believe that Bush finally grew a pair and stood up to that DICK Cheney and jackass Rove. I'm actually a little impressed.

The way Bush spoke today, talking about raising the minimum wage, having comprehensive immigration reform, and working with Democrats, it looks as if Dubya is ditching the wingnuts and heading toward the left! A moderate Dubya will be great! If he truly works with the Dems and gets things done for Americans, I'll regard him as the "most improved President ever!"

I was just thinking about something...

The replacement of Rummy has been in the works for a long time now, as we all suspected. Why did they wait until the day after the election?

Rove knew the GOP was cruising for a bruising, so he waited until Democrats were all jubilant in the spotlight, then they dropped this little bomb and put the President right back in the headlines. They stole the Dem's thunder with the timing of this move.

...Just a theory

They didn't steal the thunder because the wingnuts are pissed about Bush extending the olive branch to the Dems. He wants to work with them and all the right can do is bitch. Read redstate and other conservative blogs, they suddenly hate Bush!
